Well done to all the TY students who have been busy creating wonderful works of art during their four week module. The first piece was inspired by the theme of food. Students enjoyed exploring zentangle patterns and the imaginative use of colour to form these vibrant works. Their next workshop looks at tonal collage through the theme of flowers and we look forward to seeing those pieces.
First Year Art learnt about Land Art and the work of Andy Goldsworthy last week. They created these works inspired by his outdoor pieces.
They also made their own fruit & veg. faces based on the work of a sixteenth century Italian artist Guiseppe Arcimboldo.
