Daffodil Day

in News

When we go to a garden we pick the most beautiful flowers to take home with us.

In spring it is often daffodils that catch our eyes with their bright colours and warmth interiors, and these we take home with us.

God like this picks the most beautiful and warm people to fill his garden of love.
On daffodil day we remember all those beautiful souls taken before their time.
Including many members of our own community.
Your brightness and warmth will never be forgotten, and today we celebrate the beauty of daffodils in honour of you all.
May you all rest in peace.

This Daffodil Day we remember the students, staff and family members our community has lost to cancer. Tonights Late Late show will have a small piece about our past pupil Caoimhe Timmons in support of this much appreciated charity, The Irish Cancer Society, and to raise awareness about childhood and teen cancers.

Here are some photographs students from first year took of this years daffodils.
