Transition Year students are invited to take part in the Law Society of Ireland’s Legal Ambitions Summer School. This is a free online programme which encourages students to consider a career in law and offers an insight into the role of a solicitor in practice.
The Summer School begins on Tuesday 20 July 2021 and is delivered online, covering dynamic themes such as social justice, human rights and climate change. Short easy to consume video interviews and presentations are released on a play-on-demand basis and supported with interactive content such as online quizzes and additional educational resources, to help deepen the learning experience.
Participants will hear from a range of speakers, providing students with an insight into how the law is relevant to their daily lives and promoting awareness of constitutional principles, and values which underpin the rule of law in Ireland.
