We are delighted to launch this years Christmas Competition. It has been a difficulty couple of years for all things cultural, with galleries, theatres and public exhibition spaces closing temporarily. To celebrate the importance of the VISUAL world on our mental health and wellbeing, the Art Dept. is running a Christmas Art Competition.
The themes – Peace On Earth or Winter Wonder
A5 size piece in paint/pencil/watercolour/collage/photography.
The prizes – 1st Prize – €100 voucher, 2nd Prize – €80 voucher and 3rd Prize – €50 voucher.
To be handed in to Ms. Bowe or Ms. Kearney by Wednesday 23rd Nov. or emailed to one of them if it is a photograph.
Please remember to include your name, class, age, medium and information about the piece with your entry.
Last years winning entry was by Hope Rodgers and was used to create the Beaufort Christmas Card.
