Our TY students of German were able this year to welcome ten students from Wangen in South-Western Germany into their families. They spent two weeks in Dublin together, the first week largely shopping, sightseeing, going on day trips and hiking during the midterm break, and then attending Loreto Beaufort for the second week.
The students got on very well and the German visitors were very kind in meeting all the German year classes to practise speaking and interviewing each other. Our students will be heading over to Wangen (situated next to Lake Constance close to the Austrian border) in July.
