Well done to the whole Irish Debating Team, who recently reached the regional final of Comórtas Díospóireachta an Phiarsaigh. Emily, Annesophie and Olivia spoke on the night, against the motion ‘Ba cheart cosc iomlán a chur ar alcól sa tír seo’. Only one team out of the four that debated on the night got through to the national final, and although we weren’t successful on this occasion, we put up a great fight. We are so proud! Well done to our fabulous Irish Debating Team and Ms. Phelan. They reached the regional finals yesterday. Although they didn’t get through this time around, the team and Ms Phelan all worked really hard and put up a good fight. Well done.
