Friendship Week

in News
Friendship week took place from the 4th of September to the 8th of September. The week was packed full of fun activities and games! Friendship week is an important event in the Beaufort calendar as it is a time where new friendships are formed, and positivity and fun are present all around the school! The Ty students worked hard this week to ensure everyone had an amazing week!

Each day we had “Stop everything and Smile!” During our 10 o’clock class. This was when we would pause class for 10-15 minutes and we played a game with our classmates and teachers. (eg. Splat, Pictionary, Hangman, etc.) This was a fun activity and brightened everyones moods each morning!

We also had peer teaching for the 1st, 2ndand 3rd years. Our Ty students taught the younger years about important topics such as friendships and anti-bullying. There were also lots of quizzes, prizes and games to enjoy!

There was also friendship bracelet- making for 4th, 5th and 6th years during religion class. Each class got the chance to make friendship bracelets for themselves or for eachother! This was lots of fun and gave us the chance to relax in between classes!

On Tuesday there was a house meeting for the whole school. This gave everyone the chance to meet others from different yearsin the same house! There were chants, dancing, sweet, prizes and most importantly house points!

Me and the Ty students have had so much fun organising and taking part in friendship week and we hope that everyone else had a wonderful week too!
