Well done to 5th Year Art on their recent exhibition at The Pearse Museum. Thank you to Lauren and Eve in TY for making this wonderful film of the whole process. Students started by brainstorming the theme ‘Girlhood’ together. They discussed different perspectives and aspects relating to this theme locally and personally to internationally and historically. Artist and photographer, Dragana Jurisic, led the students through these processes in a very enjoyable and collaborative way. They explored art elements and design principles and looked at the current Duchas Code for NGO’s. Using these explorations and experimentations they created very strong visual work portraying their own concepts.
