We were blessed last Thursday with Sr. Orla and Sr. Noelle’s visit to our school. They shared their incredible stories from our sister school Loreto Rumbek in South Sudan. They inspired the whole school community in appreciating the transformative power of a robust education and the impact one sister is having on the global sisterhood. They also shared with us the exciting news of expanding their work to Aweil in South Sudan! Thank you to all who organised and participated in this assembly on social justice, Ms. Kavanagh, Ms. O’Driscoll, Ms O’Dwyer, Ms. Matthews, the amazing choir led by Ms. Browne, Ciara Higgins for her great poem reciting, the students who presented their trip to Kenya & Lourdes, past pupil Laura Staunton for sharing her involvement in fundraising for Rumbek and all staff and students.
