National Gallery Of Ireland & Street Art Tour – 5th Year Art

in Departments, News

5th Year Art visited the National Gallery Of Ireland today. Thank you to our tour guides who showed us the wonderful ‘Lavery On Location’ exhibition and the Irish Rooms. We also got to see the Caravaggio and an excellent exhibition called ‘Shelter’ curated by Anne Hodge. Like the Irish artists during the time of modernism we went to our little part of France … ‘Chez Max’ for lunch. Then onto a fantastic Street Art Tour guided by Conor from Alternative Dublin. We finished the tour at Love Lane with the piece that started the lane by Anna Doran, a past pupil of Beaufort.

It was a really enjoyable day. Well done to 5th Year Art on engaging so well and thank you so much to Ms. O’Shaugnesy and Ms. Bowe.
